The Dynanage stem flow system is mainly assembled from the CR1000 data logger and wrapped stem flow sensors. It is used to study the water use status of gramineae or plants with thin stem by measuring the speed of plant stem flow (unit: g / h or kg / h).
The CR1000 data logger is installed in a weatherproof enclosure, where the voltage regulated module with LED display is embedded. PC400 software realizes Programming, communication and reliable data exchange between PC and CR1000 data logger is completed by PC400 software.
The quick connector of the extension cable is waterproof, so the whole system can be normally used under extremely harsh conditions. However, the quick connectors of many similar products or even imported equipments are poorly waterproof. When used in a humid or rainy environment, such quick connectors are prone to water ingress, which will lead to corrosion or breakage of the core of the cable and cause the instrument to not be used normally.

Wrapped stem flow sensor:
There are various different sensor models. An appropriate sensor model should be chosen according to the thickness of he measured stem. Depending on different hardware designs, there are two types of wrapped sensors: conventional wrapped sensor and EXO-Skin winding wrapped sensor.
① conventional wrapped sensor:
Measure stems with a diameter ranging from 2.1 to 165mm. It is suitable for plants with relatively uniform stem thickness. The entire sensor needs to be completely wrapped on the plant stem while measurement. The models are as follows:

②EXO-Skin winding wrapped sensor:
Measure stems with a diameter ranging from 8 to 29mm. It is suitable for measuring stems with nodules, especially short distances between two nodules. The sensor should be winded around the stem of the plant. The sensor is very thin, flexible, and uses elastic nylon fiber with good airpermeability as the heat insulation material. It is very easy to be installed because of its short vertical length, and make it easier to fit the stem with irregular physiological curvature. The models are as follows:
